Even if it's just a few leaves on the side. I love watching Andrew eat, especially when he is enjoying his food. I feel extra proud if he licks his plate clean!makes me feel like I made something yummy and one extra plate to clean!;) Alex Bennallackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10321872768283669834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3218333788665413058.post-34672579436544070142013-04-10T01:12:27.676-07:002013-04-10T01:12:27.676-07:00Jo, in my book, a bought chicken counts as making ... Jo, in my book, a bought chicken counts as making the dinner if you make the vegies...but I count a bought lasagne with a few lettuce leaves and tomatoes on the side, as making the dinner... so maybe my opinion is biased :)
Jade, as for the salmon and home made dressing, I've never cooked salmon in my life...tuna is about as far I go, so I'm impressed! I take my hat off to you both. I love you that you find joy in making Anthony's lunch Jo...I bet Anthony loves it too :) xxx Mum
xxx MumAustralia Perth Missionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06512697857936363084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3218333788665413058.post-76451062714655421512013-04-09T17:26:54.017-07:002013-04-09T17:26:54.017-07:00Hahaha I enjoying coming here for a good laugh.
Me...Hahaha I enjoying coming here for a good laugh.
Men and women just think so differently. I agree, the effort of the vegetables are what counts and takes the most time. Then again, I think guys just really enjoy their meat and he must of got excited that you cooked such a good chicken. Doing it from scratch in a slow cooker or buying it already done like you did takes about the same amount of effort anyway :)

Last night I made a really simple sauce for the salmon (like 4 ingredients from jars - honey, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar and mustard). Just because I mixed them all together and poured it over the salmon, sweet Matt was impressed that I "made" my own sauce. I felt like a cheat because you just stick it in the oven, that's it, no slicing, not crumbing, etc. It was the easiest dinner... but I'll take take the credit ;)Jade Krokhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06905664986642263265noreply@blogger.com
